Wanted messages only.
Last updated September 8, 2026
BucketDesk email is intended for account security and product transactions—not unsolicited bulk email. This policy applies to BucketDesk and to customers who trigger messages through the service.
Messages BucketDesk sends
- Account verification, password, security, and workspace membership messages.
- Secure-share invitations and one-time recipient verification codes.
- Requested workflow, file-processing, billing, and service-status notifications.
- Product marketing only where a person separately opts in.
Recipient and list standards
We do not buy, rent, scrape, or sell email lists. Account email addresses are verified. Marketing consent is separate from accepting transactional service messages. Customers must not use purchased, rented, scraped, guessed, or otherwise unauthorized recipient lists.
Secure-share responsibility
A sender must provide the intended recipient’s address and confirm they are authorized to contact that person and disclose the selected content. Links expire, recipient access requires verification, and code delivery and verification attempts are rate limited. A recipient is not required to create a BucketDesk account to view an authorized external share.
Bounces, complaints, and unsubscribes
Addresses associated with permanent delivery failures or credible spam complaints are suppressed from further non-essential sending while reviewed. Optional marketing requests are honored independently of transactional account and security messages. We monitor delivery outcomes and investigate abnormal bounce or complaint patterns.
Enforcement
BucketDesk may throttle, block, suspend, or terminate accounts or workflows that generate spam, deceptive messages, repeated invalid recipients, abuse reports, or attempts to evade safeguards. We cooperate with infrastructure providers when investigating misuse.
Report unwanted email or abuse
Email hello@bucketdesk.com with “Abuse report” in the subject. Include the date, sender, and share identifier if available. Do not send passwords, verification codes, credentials, or sensitive file contents.
